really the only must play that we had on our list was Shout! lol its a family tradition to form a circle and run into the middle and do the worm, which means you lay on your back and kick you legs up! lol its really werid but we have to do it at every family function that involves a dj! lol
oh and i made sure they play 'i got a feeling' by black eye peas! love that song! but i told them that on the day of

Lots of weird stuff. I think the only 'normal' thing might be Summer Wind by Sinatra ... FH has always wanted to dance with his wife to that song at his wedding.

We have to have Sweet Caroline bc my grandmas name is caroline so every family party that involves a DJ we have that song played and we all form a circle around her and all just dance and have so much fun! nad FH's family song is every rose has its thorn so those are the 2 musts and also paradise by the dahsboard light is both familys :) i guess we have alot lol

Haha, Caroline is my name too. I acutally HATE that song because whenever it plays people do the same thing, they circle around me and say ooooo, its your song. I guess I am no fun, LOL. BUT, since it IS my wedding day, I might want that kind of attention and definitely will be playing it. Afterall, I was named after the song, just as my sister is named after Sweet Melissa and my brother, Sweet Baby James.

I have a lot of songs that I'm 100% certain no one but me will want played at their wedding haha. I HAVE to have Mr. Big- Be With You, even though it's not really a wedding song at all, I love it haha. Then I have a lot of Bon Jovi, Journey, Goo Goo Dolls, Tarantella/Zorba/that Italian techno song that I can't remember the name of BAH, lots of old school Italian crooners/Michael Bublé for dinner time, FH wants DMB but it's not happening, Billy Joel, Shout, Runaround Sue, and Jennifer Lopez Let's Get Loud LOL...that's the out of character one!

I made sure to give a do not play list, but we really didn't have a must play list. We more so gave them the genres of music we liked. We didnt want to restrict the dj too much. The night flowed perfectly and songs were played that I had forgotten about but loved!
