what's one thing....that made your rel as strong as it is?
From planning a very expensive wedding, then having to cancel, we realized that the love was stronger than the one day we would have had. At first it was sad and disappointing, but we came out of it.
Other times things have been hard in the relationship, but we have managed to work through everything and stay on the right path and remain true to our hearts.
What about you guys? What has made your relationship as strong as it is?

I think living together, being engaged and planning this wedding has really made us stronger and HAPPIER together. We get along even better than we did and each and every single night we are both so genuinely excited to see each other, to make dinner together, to hold each other on the couch! It is amazing!

I have SO many factors that has made our relationship so strong. One was the things we have gone through together. The first 2 years was probably the toughest. If I talk about it, it can go on forever!

We had a couple major bumps in the road, but kinda too private to share on here.. sry guys! But i will say, its things that made us really work together and communicate more effectively than we had in the past... we're more in tune with each others feelings and respectful of that whether good or bad

The hardest thing for us is that FH and I have gone back and forth with the long distance thing...he works in television and every year he has to go out to LA for a few months. He's been out there since April 21st and he comes back to visit at least once a month but it's so hard. However, we've been together 10 years by this point so I think/hope that we're pretty unbreakable.

Wow alot of things for us. I mean FH & I are together over 5 yrs now. But i think for me it was when my Grandmother passed away & he was so there for me & my family that i knew he was the only person i could ever imagine the rest of my life with. Also i think at first when we had communication problems because FH is an only child & he didnt realize how important it was. He was used to doing what he wanted without explanation. I would tell him how selfish that was & how it makes me feel. Well when it happened to him from a friend (who by the way is also an only child) he called me and said 'Babe Im so sorry Ive done this to you. I completely understand what you were saying & how it feels & how it hurt you. Im sorry & i will never do that to you again.' After that our relationship went to a whole new level. And here we are today! ECSTATICALLY IN LOVE!

having to move our wedding cause of his mother & sister being selfish really put a strain on us. but we got through it & are stronger then before.

being together the last five years... we share a really close relationship and i consider him my best friend.... we are very open with one another and share everything... we support each other through both good and bad times....
