We are going to his sisers wedding in July...in NJ.....(uuugh...can;t stand the smell there) ANyways, her wedding is at Noon on Sunday..I have my outfit already...Its a flowy 2 piece with litle flowers on it...its kind of a sheer material, and will be cool for the HOTTT weather....
Can FH go without a jacket? He only has 1----LOL...and its wool......
ANyways, any suggestions would help so I can get this purchased and all set!!

hmmm I really dont know....
I had a summer afternoon wedding in NJ and the reception was at the little hall in the back of the church. (it was very lovely) I wore a nice sheer lavendar dress with dark color purple flowers on it. FI wore nice black pants and a nice shirt and tie. No jacket.
I guess it depends on where the place is. Do you know anyone attending, you can ask them what they are wearing.

I went to a very casual wedding in CT., where ladies were wearing sundresses...but all the men still had jackets, so I'd wear one, just to be on the safe side...he can always leave it in the car if it's too much.

I would make sure he at least brings a jacket when you get there you can decide if it comes off or not. It's better to be safe than sorry.

i would definitely make sure he has a jacket. You could probably get him something inexpensive at the Men's Wearhouse or Marshalls. Go with a linen sportcoat with khakis or something easy like that.
