I usually go to the beauty supply store and get supposedly a 'professional' hair color. However before that i used to use Loreal Hydrience(?)

See i just have to be careful because I have the Japanese straightening so I cannot bleach my hair.. I would prob have to get like a semi-permanent dye i think.... Loreal did it work well?

It did work well, my hair didn't get brassy at all. I think hydrience is water-based.

Honestly if you had the japanese straightening done i would consult a hair dresser or have it done professionally. when I was younger I colored my own hair and did some major damage to it because I didnt' apply it right. It took a long time to grow out before it started looking healthy again.

I looked for it online...maybe they discontinued it. Sorry
Why don't you try going to a beauty supply store. They might be more knowledgable. I get Clariol Dark Ash Brown from them.

I always use Loreal, maybe its called preference? I dunno but right before the wedding the last 2 months, I dyed my hair about 3 times, which is soooo bad for your hair, but honestly my hair feels and looks good, so I'm sticking with Loreal.

Sometimes when I dont feel like spending $$$ on getting my hair done I use 'Loreal Ferria' and I love it. If you have a lot of hair make sure you buy 2 boxes.

I've used Ferria and it's always worked very well. Just make sure you have a window open in the bathroom. That stuff can give you a very unwanted high!
I wish I could dye out the gray in my own hair, but after my HM I'm donating my hair and it cannot be dyed.

I've used Preference and Feria by Loreal. Both work fine.

as a non practicing hair stylist, I love 'preference by Loreal' It will give you the best, salon like hair color. Know that if you want to lighten your hair, you can only lighten about 2 shades. To go blond from Dark brown to black you need to have your hair professionally lightened and have color/toner added.

THanks ladies! I checked all those out however i do beleive all that you listed are for permanent hair coloring.
I went to the store and saw clairol natural instincts with no ammonia and non-permanent color. Anyone used that.
I see this is prob going to be an issue so i might have to just suck it up and go to the salon !!! UGHH
