Please tell me the best thing about your reception hall. what makes it unique? We will start looking soon and wanted some advice. Please share any unique features...

Jericho Terrace....the elegance and THE FOOD!!!!!!!(and i have to say the staff :)!) JT is KNOWN for it's food, and to me atleast, that's one of the most important parts of the RH. I can't tell you how many people were like 'This place is top notch! the food is incredible!' Besides the stunning cocktail hour and the amazing entrees, the DELICOUS viennese is just about 40yards long!(half the length of a football field!!!!) truly incredible not to mention the place is breathtakingly elegant

Also what impressed me was the large bridal suite, plus the guys had their own suite as well which was nice since we got married at the hall and didn't see each other beforehand. I also liked how the place was ours for the whole day, not just one wedding at a time but one wedding per day, it was nice not having to work around someone else's schedule.

I worked at Stonebridge (ZZ's Grille) and you have nothing to worry about! Paul, the chef, is fantastic and Jim & Terry (if they are still there) will make sure your day is perfect!

I'm already married so yea, I know how wonderful they are!!! But thanks for adding to it!!!!

I think mine is just really pretty and elegant looking. It doesn't look like a typical hall. Im using the Winter Garden Pavillion at Fox Hollow. I wanted an outdoors look to it and this is perfect. I am not big on large chandaliers or murals on the wall and that kind of stuff- its not me. So when we saw this room we fell in love!

One wedding at a time.
Three separate rooms for ceremony, cocktail, reception.
Not so big that a small reception will make the place look empty. We are using the smaller room for the reception because I am only inviting about 80 people.

Oh yeah....great food and on a dock!!

I loved EVERYTHING about the Yale Club!! If I had to choose, I loved the old New York feel, the view from the roof terrace where we had the cocktail hour, and the convenience for many of out OOt guests who stayed there.

Well I guess my favorite things are that we'll have the whole place to ourselves (one event at a time), I like the look of the rooms and that they're all on different floors, I like the location (not too far since we're coming from Queens on a Fri night), good food & service (or so I've heard though I can't confirm that yet), plus a decent price considering all that is included.

I'm getting married at the Crescent Beach Club and my favorite thing about it is the view. I fell in love with the place as soon as I looked out the windows of the rooms!!!

Thank you for reminding me about the sweeping staircase.

Also liked that everything is pretty much on one level. I had to take that into consideration because I have quite a number of guests who cannot walk stairs very well, including FMIL. The restrooms and indoor ceremony site are downstairs, but there is an elevator.

Also like the bar in the reception room. It is not one of those rolling cart things.

That the halls initials are me and FH's initials...and the halls colors just happen to be our wedding colors...

but besides that, the outdoor gardens are beautiful, and the inside has a warm cozy feeling...ontop of the excellent food!!

Food, service and of course our reception room..Looks like a greenhouse! All glass-amazing when the light streams in. Its what made me want it!

Our RH is the Jericho Terrace and I have to say that there are so many reasons we booked there... As soon as we walked in the ambiance was amazing... the lighting was dim and there was a piano player providing just the right amount of background music. The staff were friendly, the architecture of the building was amazing, the food was fabulous... I could go on and on... the only piece of advice I can pass along to you is that when you walk into your future RH, you WILL know. You won't be able to see yourself celebrating anywhere else!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the cocktail hour area at East Wind Estate- I think it is beautiful.. my favorite being the center room-

There's more, but I just loved that about it!

As soon as I walked into that room I knew that was the place.

Villa Lombardi's....The FOOD!! IT was amazing. The grounds are beautiful. Largest Selection Cocktail Hour I've ever seen. Marble Dance Floors, Spacious (and I mean spacious) room, amazing service, and ITS PINK!!

Gotta agree with you here! My guests raved for MONTHS about how it was the best wedding they have ever been to! Top shelf all the way!

It's own village.

One wedding at a time (in two locations)

A beautiful staircase for the entrance.

A cocktail hour in a room filled with large windows.

Not to mention my family and FH's family both went there every year around Christmas when we were kids!

Can you tell I love the Milleridge?
