ok sooooo we switched our honeymoon from mexico to hawaii because of all the garbage that is going on in mexico ... today my boss tells me that North Korea is planning to bomb hawaii on the 4th of july ... than i come home and my dad told me the same thing! what the heck!!! ps im getting married on the 4th of july and going to hawaii july 6th AHH

What I meant was that if an attack was imminent that North Korea would not leak that information to the press. I never said that there was not anything being reported about it. I guess I should have made that clear. My apologies.

IF (and that's a big if) North Korea were to launch a missile towards any US state, the US would lauch a missile to intercept it. Our intelligence is far superior to North Korea's, and the administration wouldn't leave any US citizens in harms way.
Btw, the #1 reason the US announced this treat is to let North Korea know that we know about the threat and will fight it. You're safe, don't worry.

OMG! i havent heard this but doubt its trues.. thats like the first year after 9/11 they said that they were going to bomb all the underground trains yeah still here

If this were true all you would hear on every 24 news channel would be ranting and raving about it. Plus there would be so many alerts and warnings plastered everywhere. Hawaii is fine, much safer there than in Mexico with the swine flu. Enjoy yourself and don't worry.

I think I read an article where they said the closest Hawaiian island is still farther away than the missile can reach.

I am not worried about it. North Korea has made many threats over the years. They have a missile that can hit Hawaii, that doesn't mean they will be stupid enough to use it.
