Any pros and cons would be helpful. Since FI and I are not having luck finding a house, we are considering getting a condo on the water...

i think townhouse and condo are the same but townhouse is definitely 2 stories?? ( I could be wrong)
a co-op you own a certain amount of shares (depending on the size of your apt) in the business that owns the building
a condo you own your apartment...and the land that it is on..
both you pay a maintainance fee for b/c there are common areas to maintain...

a townhouse can be one or two floors, and usually has a small piece of property (front or back) - it's usually attached to other houses in the same development.
Condo can be the same as above, or just a regular apt in a building that you own.
