What's the funniest [embarassing] thing that ever happened to you and DH...

-Before you were married

-And after you were married

Before we were married, I'll never ever forget, when we're sitting with the deacon to book the church, he asked FH 'what was the most special thing you 2 have ever shared together?' So FH starts laughing, and he said 'well, uh, she lost her virginity to me!' I was MORTIFIED, embarassed, my face turned bright red! Now I'm generally not embarassed of it, b/c I'm glad I held out and I'm NOW married to the guy, but to say that to THE DEACON whose gunna marry us, in like the house of GOD, i almost died! I was mortified! Then the deacon went on about it, saying that must have been a very special thing and ITS OK to have sex be4 you're married! HOW EMBARASSING!

After we were married, on our HM, the first day we were there, we weren't able to get into our room til 2:30, so since we had a pool in our rm, we figured we'd just stay there and hang out , some private time. We had only met 1 of our butlers at this point. So we're in the pool, and me and Dh are getting it on in the pool, and all of a sudden, someone opens our sliding glass door from our room, and we here 'OOPS! SORRY!' meanwheile they see DH's white *** <> me in the pool! Then my DH yells out 'Are you QUEEN?' [meaning the other butler!]

OMG! How embarassing! Well that sure ruinef the moment!

Before we were married:
We were invited to a Christening and entered the grande ballroom where our tables were. I was overwhelmed with everything going on because where I come from it's about 15 people that come with you for a Baptism for a brunch and that's it. We are in the grande ballroom with about 400 people, with only a handful of people we knew. Then about 30 priests walk in and a few bishops. I'm about to get sick, thinking I can never afford a Christening like this and that we need to move from Long Island if we ever want kids. Other people at our table ask how we know the guest of honor, we said we knew the parents. They say they met in Italy. Funny, we never knew the parents even went to Italy. FH gets up because cocktail hour food is now being served. I just sit there and keep drinking from the table wine.

Then a priest comes up to the table and hands out programs: It was for the 25th anniversary of the cardinal's ordination!!!!!!! WE WERE IN THE WRONG ROOM!!!!!!!! I completely panicked!!!! I tried getting to FH, but he was engulfed in a large mass of people trying to get food. Then FMIL yells 'Kelly, get in front of me, there's plenty of food!' I nearly died. I couldn't yell we were in the wrong room. Luckily, FH saw the look on my face, then he looked down to see the cake!!! After a crazy few minutes we got everyone out (friends and family) and found the right room. The baby's mom said 'Where the hell have you all been?' All in all, we spent about 30 minutes at the wrong party. We wondered if we'd be struck by lightning following that.

This still takes us past our wedding, so I have no other story.
