What's the most interesting/unique classs you've taken in HS or college?
I took advertising, and it was really fun! I'm taking bellydancing starting in February (it's non-credit though). I also took Qui gong in college and that was pretty cool, too.

hmmm i don't think I ever took a unique class in college, except for one art class, but in high school I took a ceramics course

Evolution and Society.
it was the most interesting class and the class talked about theories of evolution. I swear the theories where on point and not really disputable! I thought it was incredibly thought provoking.
Also, Psychology of Human Sexuality...for obvious reasons

When I was in HS I took Journalism just for fun, that was interesting.
Then in college I took a Sociology class on Organized Crime, also very interesting!!

my whole college expereience was unique.. i went to a merchant marine academy.
i learned how to pilot a 565' vessel..
and i guess my most interesting classes involved using the radar to plot my position, learing how to use a ships radio, morse code class and navigation were all fun kindof..

In high school I took a class on Children's Literature.
In college, I wrote my thesis on Public School Choice which was cool b/c I spent my class time at a school observing students and their guidance counselor. It was definitely out of the norm!

it was optional in my school- i chose to be cilivian and pursue a career in maritime business which is what i do now..

forensics (in our lab we did dna analysis finger printed each other matched weapons used in crimes and footprint comparisons etc) - criminal investigation (we staged crime scenes and investigated them with other professors playing parts) - legal psychology (conducted mock trials focus groups and jury selection) - serpents swords and symbols (mythology and symbolism as it appeared throughout history up into modern times) - sociology of the media - history of rock and roll - i loved college and taking classes - i'd like to continue taking courses but just dont have time now.
ETA: i cant believe i forgot my Terrorism class!! loved that too!!

I loved my Forensic Science Lab class....
My Professor was Dr. Young (the forensic scientist that testified at the OJ Simpson case)...we had samples from the actual crime scenes (Nicole Simpson's and OJ's blood & hair)...we had to evaluate their blood & hair and place OJ at the crime scene (which we did).....at that time it was cool to be involved in the controversy....

I loved all the more in-depth science classes - I miss college. Can't wait till I have the $$$ for grad school!

HS- Forensic science LI ecology and Horticulture- Jake was in my class-
College- all I liked was Art History- but then I transfered to FIT- and took classes about stores, clothes and business- I liked most of them expect economics and math

wow thats phenomenal!! did you go to john jay? i loved forensics - your teacher must have had some interesting insight!!
