What's the most you've ever spent on...

...a bra?

I love Victoria's and their new Secret Embrace bras look great but $45 to $51 for one bra is... Well, too much for me right now. With saving for a house and all.

Do you even care what it costs if it looks good? I'm talking everyday stuff. I never used to care, and would wait until a major sale and then go nuts, but now I'm scrutinizing.

Probably about the same. But if it lifts and enhances, it is worth it.

Bras are tough - I have big boobies so spending any less than $25 is usually out of the question unless it is a sale. I would TOTALLY spend over $50 on a bra if it was made well and looked great and most of all was comfortable. I have a few from.. Wacol? I think they make pricey ones... either way my size requires more support so the good ones are usually pricey.

I personally would not spend the money for Vicky bras because I just don't like them. I spill out all over and no matter what size they put me in I look silly and lumpy. None of what they sell has ever really impressed me. But that is me. If they look great on YOU and you have yet to find anything in Macy's that compares to what you find in vickys I say go for it. Bras are worth the money but you do have to take special care with them. Don't ever put them near the dryer. Don't over wash them. Wash them in a lingerie bag. You know - stuff like that...

Then again, I shop on sales only and RARELY spend over $50 on any one item EVER! I know I have to get over it. Quality over quantity. As 30 nears I need some more adult clothing!

I only buy VS bras during their sales or when they send me a coupon for $5 off, or something like that.

Their bras are the most comfortable I have ever worn and I never wear anything else anymore!

I hate VS bras. They are SO overpriced, they hurt and they fall apart. I have newfound love for calvin klein bras and panties. SOFT, compfy last forever. Some are expensive but they are ALWAYS on sale at macys and bloomys

Some of those look really familiar. Maybe I have seen them before.

the most was probably around $45...for either VS or this Wacoal job that I am actually wearing today.

I am actually in need of new bras b/c the girls have grown slightly, making the bras I have uncomfy.

I bought a new DKNY bra that I really like the other day...and I just went out looking for more.

I don't like Calvin Klein or DKNY push up bras, but the Calvin New Fit is pretty comfy. I think VS makes the best push ups in the market.

I also like Intimissimi...it's an italian brand, though they sell them in some VS's now. as with Nutella, the bras made and purchased in Italy are better.

Daffy's and Century sell Calvins for much less than retail. now to just find them in my new size

That's funny, I never had a problem with the quality of Victoria's stuff. These days, I only wear Body by Victoria and some satin stuff for everyday. The satin stuff is not in such great shape but that's my fault for not caring for them the way I should.

Looks like I should look into CK stuff. There's a Century 21 in Westbury I could hit also.

Any other suggestions, keep em coming.

I like VS stuff. Most of my bra's are from there.

I spend about that much on bra's - and they last/look good so I don't feel bad about it. I always wash them on 'hand wash' and never put them in the dryer.

I have a VS card so I get a bunch of coupons in the mail too, that helps.

I also buy from the Gap - when they have sales.

do NOT get me started on Intimissimi!! I loaded up on those bad boys when I was in Italy and they were super cheap ( i bought them on my credit card so i know i wasnt just doing the exchange rate wrong!) so i got all excited when i saw them at VS

WELL, not only did they jack up the prices BUT its not the same material or something i already put in an order for when my cousin comes from Italy for the real stuff!

Anywho - I only buy IPEX VS bras so i am constantly spending around $50 on them - one thing i will spend money on bc i swear by them

i want to try the sweet embrace ones now!

I am leaving for Milano on Friday. hitting up Intimmissimi right behind the Duomo, in the Galleria....

btw about the nutella - when the ones from Italy had the entire Italian soccer team on their jar - we got Kobe Bryant. . . right in the middle of his rape scandal!
