What's the norm for sending out invitations?

We're supposedly going to a wedding next month and we haven't received an invitation yet. I'm wondering if its being postponed a second time.

Ooooh, that would be terrible. I think if the wedding is the end of Oct. it should be any day now. Is it a small affair, maybe they are sending less formal invites without a long rsvp time.

Normal time is about 8 weeks before, if you have a lot of out of town guests or its a holiday wedding, anywhere from 8-12 weeks.

a month away and no invite??? I think to things, not invited,,,cancelled, or they want people to say no.

Its next month and I'm definately invited. Its a member of my family. They don't talk about their wedding plans or anything so we're all wondering is it off again or still on.

My cousin's wedding was in June and we didn't recieve the invites until the middle of May, and it was in California! But he's pretty flaky.
