we have this AWFUL bricking above the kitchen cabinets....i hate it...but after everything else we have moved, ripped out and redone, dh said he'd rather wait and save more $$$ to redo the whole kitchen....its not so bad but not my choice for the kitchen!!

we gutted our entire house, so I can't complain one bit about the inside... but the outside on the other hand... is a nightmare. We have NO lawn... it's just a bunch of weeds grown together that make it look green along with huge patches of dirt. All the grass is underneith and dead. Back and front yard. I can't STAND it, and they gave us some OBSCENE estimate to get a new lawn... so we had to live with it all summer. So we're saving every penny to get a brand new lawn and landscaping in the spring.

Right now I would say the kitchen cabinets. They are in GREAT shape but they are original to the house and definitely not the style that I go for!

Our countertops in the kitchen are definately not my style and they are dated but I do not want to spend the money on them right now since they are in relativly good shape and I am afraid changing them would open a 'can of worms' so to speak in the kitchen. I would then want a new sink, etc.

We're redoing the whole inside of our new house except for the kitchen - we want to wait because we've spent enough $ for the time being and I want to live in the house and try the kitchen for a little bit to see exactly what I want. I just hope that the kitchen isn't going to stand out like a sore thumb for the time being because EVERYTHING else is brand new!

We are not exactly gutting out our whole house we are keeping some rooms with the same sheet rock.
The one thing that I think we might not get to redo is our fireplace. It is a full wall of red bricks which I do not like. Maybe my husband will surprise me and we will be able to get rid of it.
I also hate my kitchen, but we will redo it sometime next year.

the outside of my house is terrible i need new siding badly but we decided we are going to do the inside out. so ill have to wait untill summer next year to re do outside its going to kill me lol

There is green carpet throughout the house. We don't have the money right now to do the floors so the carpet has to stay for now.

We have an ugly tree stump that is growing right outside the garage and so we can't park inside the garage....well, my DH took it upon himself today to DIG IT OUT himself more power to ya LOL! It is a mess!!!!

I'd say the 70's kitchen cabinets and the mustard yellow tiles in the bathroom...........both to be done at a much later date!

Our house was completely renovated in 1999 by the previous owners. The first thing we did when we moved in was put down hard wood floors. I Hate wall to wall carpets and that was something that I could not live with. However, in the kitchen we have green preggo floors and a green Formica countertops which we hate, but left that way. I am glad we decided not to invest the money right away into the kitchen because we are selling our house (2 years later) and upgrading into a larger home.
Here's a picture.......I was 5 mths preggo in it but you can see the floors and counterkitchen

our house was also completely renovated before we moved in - but only on the inside! The outside wasn't so bad, but we had this horrible wall of trees separating our yard and the neighbor's and I've hated it since we moved in! BUT, we've only had the money recently to remove them completely, so finally - 2 1/2 years later - they're gone! Thank God too - after it was finished DH was talking with one of our neighbors and he told him it looked like Vietnam before!

My kitchen - original cabinets from the 50's, the hideous wallpaper in kitchen and hallway. We had the house all to ourselves finally in April (IL's still lived here) and had to hurry up and do baby's room and living room.

I have a pink kitchen.
At closing, I mentioned something about the kitchen color and the previous owners bragged about how they just refinished it and spent soooo much time on it.
It has a leaf-print wallpaper with beautiful colors in it and they took the most hideous pepto-bismol pink for all the cabinets.
It's the next thing to go!!

I have to pick ONE??? LOL Well, let's see. I want to replace every light fixture in the house. I hate brass! We've done a few so far. I'm still going. How about an entire room? Next room to work on will be our bedroom. WHY would they paint the walls bright yellow and put in a light blue carpet? YECH!
