I'm just here with my calculator ( ) and wanted to know if you splurged in one area (or several) what did you scrimp on? Flowers? Invites? Any advice on what I can cut corners on?

We haven't really scrimped on anything. My gown turns out to be the only thing that is under budget and that was just an accident but I'm happy about it. We are also having the florist do pew bows but no decorations on the altar so we are saving some $ there. Other than that, everything has been more than we expected.

What kind of cp's did you get at Linens and things - I want to try to buy some too instead of paying so much money to a florist!

centerpieces and cake (they are included,and were not doing upgrades!) flowers i guess, b/c i have a neighbor that will be doing them!

i cut out video and i regret it. i went to burtons for my flowers so i saved hundreds. i splurged on the hall because i fell in love with it.

So far, I bought our save the dates online and we're getting married on a Sunday night instead of a Saturday night.
