that a bridal place will ruin your dress pressing it?? I bought my dress in FL, had fittings in FL, had it shipped to NY and need to get it pressed by a salon a few days before the wedding. I'm taking it to the same place the BM's got their dress from but I have this HORRIBLE FEELING that they are going to mess up my dress. This sounds ridiculous I know but Im concerned because I didnt get my dress through them

Don't let it worry you. You trusted them with your BM dresses, I wouldn't think they'd do anything wrong with your wedding dress....

They should press it before it's shipped and then you can hang it in the bathroom and let the shower steam release any wrinkles. That's what I was told to do because I also am getting my dress from Florida.
