Junior bridesmaid?

A junior bridesmaid is a girl you want to participate in your wedding who is too old to be a flower girl and too young to be a bridesmaid (and go to bachelorette party, etc.). Usually a girl who is, I don't know, 10 to 15 years old?

she CAN be like a flower girl and throw flowers or there can be a seperate flower girl

i have only seen this used in cases where the bride had a very young daughter and wanted to give her a special place in the ceremony - however, I guess anyone can do it

i personally am not a big fan but to each his (her) own!

yeah the junior bridesmaid makes total sense to me, it's the mini bride i don't get

my 6 year old son will be ring bearer with my niece as a flower girl walking down together

my older son and older nice will be the juniors..
she will be in the same color as the bridesmaids....the Junior GM will match the groomsmen

The flower girl will be in a white dress and the ring bearer is pleading to wear a spiderman costume

I originally had said no and then FH and my son came to me with the ' but the black and white spidey costume is more formal.' FH loves spiderman so I am sure I just might lose this one even if I dont know ahead of time the boys are getting ready with FH

I've never seen a JBM that wears a replica of the bride's dress.....I've seen a JBM as one who is too young to be a BM but is too old to be a FG. I've seen and heard FG's wearing replicas of the bride's gowns. My 2 JBM's are wearing the same dresses as my BM's are....that's my input lol

Excuse me, I saw JBM so many times..If that's the case, I've never even heard of a Junior Bride

A mini bride is not a junior bridesmaid, she is fairly young, its the same age a flower girl would be, some girls just rather have a mini bride...basically they wear a little wedding dress, tiara, veil and all that

When I was 12 me and my cousin who were also 12 were in my aunts wedding we were to young to be bridesmaids and too old to be flowergirls so we walked down the aisle together in dresses that matched the bridesmaids just in a younger version it was a little more frilly. I am having a jr bridesmaid her dress is similar to the BM's just a little bit more appropriate for someone younger.

No support from the bff...gee thanks...I know at some point that day he will be spidey...Im ok with it in a way just not telling FH I think he needs to feel like hes getting away with something

well a lot of FGs dont wear veils ( although some do)

the mini bride has a dress like the bride so let's say the bride is wearing a dress with lace and pickups - they will have a tiny replica of the SAME dress made for the mini bride

a FG will just have a cute white dress
