I didn't realize how hard this decision would be. I wanted something that people would be able to use. No candles though. I'm not big on those as my favor because I'm using candles for so many other things for the reception. I also wanted our names and date on whatever the favor is.

We are doing mini maple syrup bottles to go along with our fall theme:
We are doing the same ours are about 100 ml! And we are getting married on the same day
We are doing chocolate truffles from Claires Confections in Port Jeff. Boring, but delicious!
I think we're doing this as well- I don't think it's boring- a little 'unoriginal' maybe !! =)

I was just wondering if you were doing these favors instead of the ones Flowerfield hands out? Did you tell them not to hand out their truffles?

We are doing a donation to Juvenile Diabetes..FH's neice has it and is only 6 years old! She wears the pump. We are also giving out something small, like candies, also. And they can have the votives on the table if they want also.

small plants in terra cotta pots I think. I'm having high centerpieces so I may put these on the table. You could put your name and date on the bottom of the pot or put your names on a ribbon and tie the pot with that

I wanted to give something useful that almost everyone can use. So Im 99% sure Im going with heart shaped salt and pepper shakers. Since one of my BM's offered to pay for them, Im also giving 'Breakfast in Bed'. It will be a small goodie bag with two wrapped bagels, cream cheese, personalized marmalade and a personalized bag of coffee. So my guests can enjoy breakfast the next morning!!
We are doing mini photo albums. We are going to put something to say 'thank you for sharing in our special day' with our names and date in the front frame. Something like this one probably. Photo Album

I am giving these Lenox vases; one per couple They come in a box of three so I have to break them down and re-wrap them.

We were thinking about these as favors... It's handmade paper that has petals and wildflower seeds in it. You can plant the paper... It matches the invitations I'm going to make!
