Feel you on this one! Huge italian families for both of us. Our minimum is 225 or guest list is currently at 290

....wow 290?!! And I thought 167 was a lot! I guess it's good that he's only quarter italian, my family is about 120 of those guests!

We're inviting approx 230 and expecting up to 200. Not as bad as my sister's invite list of 340

I know what you mean...this is getting really expensive. my parents are paying for the reception (we are soo grateful) but THEY keep adding more and more people to the guest list. I wanted a small intimate wedding but it looks like our guest list is up to 210. I really can't say antyhing to them since they are paying and i'm their only daughter so they want to invite lots of people. I think we are going to have a lot of NOs though since people may be still away on holiday during my wedding..plus FH isnt' expecting loads of people to fly up from PR for the wedding. Our min. is 130..but I would like to keep it at 150-170 if we can.

Haha! I'm hoping it will be around there! It's still too large IMO, but at least both of our families will be happy!

Ditto, but with 150.
I think our invite list has about 170 on it right now, but a LOT of those are 'plus ones' since many of our friends and cousins are single.

we have to guarantee 150 and I think our 'A' list is at 185 with the plus 1's. If we add our 'B' list we are at 215 I think. Gotta love big families...

LOL, yeah, my 'B' list has another 40 people on it... problem is, those are all my cousins on my mom's side... invite one, invite them all, you know? Def trying to avoid the b list! ugh!
