I was just wondering what your situation is. My FH and I just realized it's not very cost effective to see each other everyday. He lives in the Bronx and I live on the southshore of Nassau. It gets costly with tolls and gas. I live with my parents and have a 4 year old son from a previous relationship...so money is always tight seeing as I don't get help from my son's father...I guess I'm just venting bc I miss my Luis

I live in Nassau on the Suffolk with my family and my FH lives in Brooklyn (he just moved in with his cousin in BK to save money for the wedding). The distance def. adds stress sometimes but we know it's only temporary.

I'm in Queens with my daughter and FH is in Rockland County so we're a weekend couple. He starts his day at 4:30am and gets home around 9pm.

We have been living together in brooklyn since 2001. Makes me feel better since we have already had all the cleaning/money/tv/bedtime /etc arguments.

FH and I have been living together for almost 3 years!! I think it's 3 in like another week. LOL. I used to live in Queens and he used to live in Suffolk, all the way out in Sound Beach (exit 63 and all the way north!). We only saw eachother every other weekend because I'm an RN and I worked about half the weekends. It really ******. Sometimes he would leave for work on Monday from my apartment, which means he got up super early. I used to work nights and he would come by after I left for work and hang out alone in my apartment Friday night while I worked and then I would see him when I got home in the morning. It was miserable. I wouldn't let him leave sometimes!

We have always been a weekend couple except the few times I was off on vacation and he was laid off and he would be here all week.
FH lives in CT with the FIL's and I live wth my parents. Money is so tight right now that we cant even start looking for a place till after the wedding. My parents said we could stay wtih them for the time being after the wedding,.

We bought a house a year ago and live together in Suffolk. Before that it we saw each other everyday cause we only lived a half hour away but it was a large cost and time suck.

Before we bought our house, I lived in queens and FH lived in Brentwood, about 50 miles apart. We were basically a weekend couple and even then with his schedule who knew if i would see him. It was very hard, but you do find a way to make it work.

FH has an apt in LI and I live with my mom in Queens. We were LD for 4 years in college. UGH/ Now he drives to my house in the morning and takes the subway to work so most days i see him for at least a few minutes.
Next month he's moving into OUR new place just 5 blocks away.

Fh and I live in my parents house in the basement apt to save money. We want tp buy a house on li asap but its hard woh all he weddinh expenses i feel like it will never happen!

I bought a Condo in eastern Queens area on my own a year and a half ago and my FH is slowly moving in, it's the perfect place for us till we get a house!!
I never thought I would be able to buy, but I found a great area that is affordable. Nassau is killer on taxes, I am bordering Nassau and Queens.. and i LOVE IT!!! FM me if you want to know more details about the area

We've lived together for 2 and a half years. We have a one bedroom now but after the wedding we plan on finding a bigger place and continue to save for a nice large downpayment on a house
