We were told to take into account a receiving line, any additions we're adding to the ceremony (special readings) pics at the church and the drive in a limo from the church to the RH. You might be able to get into a bit of your CH, but it will be difficult. If you aren't doing a receiving line or pics at the church, then you should be okay.

All depends, if you arent doing a receiving line, you can definatly make it, if you are doing one, you can still make it, you just have to keep moving, receiving lines and guest talking take a long long time, just have to keep on top of the photogs that day, beleive me they dont think of time restrictions no matter what you tell them and how many times you tell them....

You should be able to make most of your cocktail hour.

Re: whats your opinion?

I am interested to hear the answers to this as well....as I am in a similar situation. I am debating between 2.5 and 3 hours in between my ceremony and CH....being 5 minutes away & also taking pictures at my RH.

Past brides:
how long do pictures really take?

is 1.5-2 hours enough?

how long does it really take to get out of the church? I guess it also matter if you are taking pictures after the ceremony in the church as well.

how much leeway (running late time) should you incorporate into your schedule just in case?

Great questions & thanks for all the help ladies.
