GOD NO!!!!!! I AM A HUGE MANILOW FAN!!! HAVE BENN GOING TO CONCERTS SINCE IM ABOUT 7!!!!! I LOOOOVVVEEE HIM!!!

My friends used to make fun of me for it and I took my girlfirend with me last year to MSG and sat 6th row and she loved it too!!! At the end of the night she apologized to me for all the years of taunting!!!!

Since I was born my mom wanted it to be 'can't smile without you' by barry manilow ... it was 'our song' i guess cuz it was popular the year I was born I think and mymom always thought of me when she heard it. but it's not really danceable and my band doesn't know it - we didn't want to play a recorded song for such a big moment. so we are dancing to 'just the way you are' by billy joel. we listened to billy joel all the time growing up, on car trips, at home, etc and a couple lines are just really appropriate for us.

i loved 'i loved her first' too but again, my band doesn't know it.

Not 100% yet, but I'm pretty sure it's going to be 'Daddy's Little Girl'....I know it's completely overused, but it's what my dad always used to sing to me when I was little....

If the song is really imporant to you, you should ask the band to learn it. They still have enough time- Im sure they would be happy to do it- its one more song they can have for other events.

If the song is really imporant to you, you should ask the band to learn it. They still have enough time- Im sure they would be happy to do it- its one more song they can have for other events.

We have them learning a few other things, and they really only learn 3-4 songs per wedding, which is understandable. Plus, like I said, it's not really danceable ... it's a weird tempo. I am playing it at the cocktail hour - we are making a cd to play - it's really my mom who thinks of it as 'our song' - and she doesn't know I am playing it so she will probably get all choked up
