Now that the wedding is over, I can hang out here and laugh at the things I did before the wedding. So to the girls who are already married, what was your worst bridazilla moment? Post them here and let's all have a laugh at the silliness.
Mine happened a couple weeks before the wedding -- My mom was determined to wear a qipao (that's the traditional Chinese dress) to the wedding, which is fine with me, except that she didn't have one. So she had some crackpot tailor in the bundocks of Virginia make one up for her, and it looked like diaster -- this guys couldn't even get the zipper to line up, and she was determined to wear it because in her frugal Chinese way she felt like she paid good money for it, so she can't let it go waste.
I got into a huge argument with her, and absolutely refused to let her wear it, culminating with my screaming in my best three year old imitation 'no! It's my wedding, you have to wear what I want!' *palms face* That was really terrible of me.
So finally I dragged her to Macy's, found her a dress, and then found her a better seamstress to fix her qipao. She got to wear both in my wedding day (she changed when I changed into my qipao as well), and looked amazing. And now we both laugh at the imcompetent tailor whose piping looks dog chewed.
