When........

Do I have my shower? Should it be around the same time as the Bach Party?

i believe so. i think is should be within the month of your wedding- atleast the ones ive been to have.

The reason I ask is because I will be living in Florida by the time of the wedding and I'm not coming to NY until the week of so I kind of didn't want to have too many events going on at that time. I don't want my guest to feel like they have to spend so much money on gifts. 1 for the shower, Bach party and the wedding.

im having my shower 5 months prior to my wedding and fh and i are having combined bach parties 3 months prior to the wedding.

do whats best for you. after all... everything is in your honor.

I've heard the shower is usually 1-2 months before the wedding. My friend is getting married in Sept. and her shower is in August. And her sister is planning her bach. party 1-2 weeks before the wedding.

I assume mine will be around 3 months prior to the wedding. Then I'd like my b-party to be around a month to 3 weeks before. Honestly, I don't want my b-party any closer to the wedding than 3 weeks because I think I'll be going crazy.

Within three months of your wedding date...I think 2 is great, but hard if you're in peak wedding / big event months. Gives plenty of time to send out your thank yous (which also serve as a reminder to RSVP for your wedding).

Where in FL? I live in FL I think that's also my biggest problem when do I do things given that I don't go to NY often.

Figure the shower is about 3 months before the wedding and the bach party can be about a month or even two weeks before the wedding...
Everyone does things differently...I think my shoer will be about 3 or 4 months before the wedding and my bach party about 3 weeks before the wedding...

My shower is a surprise but I'm pretty sure its gonna be 3-4 months prior, My bachelorette party is the week before.

Yayyy for the combined bach party!! We are too. What are you two doing!?! He keeps saying VIP at some club and I'm like ughhh...I want to go someplace for the weekend with the bridal party and whoever!!

My shower will be in October. Not sure when my bach party will be, my sister and best friend want to do vegas which I hope we get to do and then I will probably have one here also because my FSILS won't go to vegas
