When and Where???

When and where do we get our marriage license???

And when we do get it, does that mean we are officially married?? or not until the officiant signs it the day of?

You can only get your license no more than 60 days before the wedding (you need to go to town hall with all your identification stuff)...and it's just basically a permit allowing you to get married, you aren't married until you say the vows and have it witnessed

You need your drivers license and your ORIGINAL birth certificate (with the stamp imprinted on it). Also, both you and FH need to be there when you go and get the license. It also costs $40

make sure you research which town clerks office you go to....some accept credit cards, where others will only take exact cash or money orders....no personal checks for the $40 fee.
