We are getting married 8/8/08, when should the guys order their tuxes and which places do you ladies suggest? We do have a 9 year old that is growing like wild fire...should we wait till last minute for his? As always thanks for your help ladies!!!

Hey there, we went for the tuxes over the Christmas break with our BM, but FH is taking his nephew (RB) next week to get measured... I think you can wait it out to have the 9 year old measured. We used RSVP in Bay Shore (and they have another store in Commack). HTH!

You can book them now and they all dont have to finalize them yet untilo like 2 months prior (so the 9 yr old will be fine)
We booked ours around Aug 07 for April 08 so its not too early.
We went to Tuxedo Park in Carle Place. Our OOS GM are calling them with thier measurements.

OK, so I was thinking April or May for August...is that too late then? And shouldn't FH be worrying about this!!!
We were also thinking After Hours...but I've heard not so good things.............

After Hours just merged with mens warehouse and its MW tux now
idk if it makes a diff that its a popular date (like 7/7/07 was) but doubt they will run out of tuxes with all the locations they have.

I don't know where because we haven't looked yet, but I just wanted to say that FH has friends that waited till the 2 weeks before the wedding to order theirs!!!! I personally don't recommend that though. I can't imagine waiting till last minute for a major detail!
