When are you

sending your invites? Our wedding is the first week of June. When should be send our invitations?

i think they're supposed to be sent 6-8 weeks before, right?

At least 8 weeks before. You want to set your response date about 4 weeks prior to the wedding. Sending 8 weeks before will give your guests 4 weeks to respond (and of course...some of them won't and you'll still have to call them anyway!) HTH

yea, 6-8 weeks is what i've heard.....closer to 8 if your wedding is on a holiday weekend though....gives your guests more time to plan and book hotes/flights if needed

RSVP DATE April 10
Wedding date May 24 i wanna make sure i have PLENTY of time for stragglers and make the seatign chart and what not

i was thinking of sending mine out about 10 weeks before also for the same reasons. lets hope these people dont dilly dally

So our guest won't think I'm neurotic for sending them out in March We're the first week in June and we're going to ( Hopefully, if we find what we're looking for) move by April 1st.

I asked FMIL to set a time to pick them out, and finalize the details, and she thought that it was too soon.

We have a B list too, our venue can hold a maximum of 130 guest. I would want to send A with enough time to respond that the B list will not know they are B list, any suggestions... w/o it being obvious

Hi date twin, I'm sending them out the last week of march, dont want to do it april first lol! Just going by when my wedding coordinator told me.

My wedding is June 1 and I made my RSVP April 20th. I made it a little earlier than a month because I remember for the engagement party so many people didn't RSVP on time so I am leaving extra time for the wedding. I will probably send my invites out mid march.
