start anytime! You can start to put stuff on there and you can always change your mind before anyone knows where you are registered and buys things!

you can start now but note that a lot of items get discontinued....i say about 4-5 months

I just started sunday night and then FH and I both went online today and added more. I think you can start at anytime.

I registered like right away! That's one of the best parts! I've added/deleted a few times and we've done online and in store. It's a work in progress. I'd say go for it whenever you have the time.
