When are you booking your HM?

I was just wondering when everyone is booking their HM?

Should I book once the airfare becomes available and assume that the prices will not become cheaper?

Honestly, Aruba prices hasnt changed however the flights have. I dont think right now the flights will be getting better. I started looking about 1 month before & decided whichhotel we wanted & then booked it. I wanted the best place with the most fun. FH & I have a credit with Jetblue so i didnt book flights with my hotel. We did it seperate. I suggest booking all together. Do it soon.

We booked through our TA and the price changed a little bit since we booked but they have a way of crediting that towards our trip the difference - I check it all the time - the good thing is it will never go up - just down - we booked it in June I think

We also booked the hotel through our Travel agent. But i always do research before speaking with them. I like to know what they are doing for me. its family friend so i know he does well. But im still curious. hahahaha

Well I am booking the flight seperate from the HM. I am going to Bali and Malaysia and they only have flights until July. I am assuming the September flights wont be up until October.

I am worried that I book too soon and the price will decrease dramatically.

Usually the more advance you book the cheaper it is.. but keep checking the hotel or cruise or wherever your going to see if they have deals or if the price dropped and they should meet it for you. Did you use a travel agent? Mine has already switched stuff for us so we save more. HTH

We already booked our resort for the HM, but decided to do the airfare on our own b/c FH thinks he can get a good deal by going through Jetblue. Problem is, the flights for March arent out yet. So he's been stalking the Jetblue website waiting for the March fares to go on sale.

I can't wait!

I want a specific villa in Bali so my only concern would be the flight. The price of the villa does not change and the only variation is seasonally.

I looked into a TA but I they cannot save money on the villa or the flight so I dont know if I should use one.

I've delegated this responsibility to my Greek FH...so I guess that means he's going to start booking on maybe 12/1/09

go through orbitz... they refund you the additional money if someone books the same flight as you and it goes down... but then again... not sure how popular those desinations are so your chances might lessen... ive heard that the prices are best when they are first released

go through orbitz... they refund you the additional money if someone books the same flight as you and it goes down... but then again... not sure how popular those desinations are so your chances might lessen... ive heard that the prices are best when they are first released

Thanks for the info!!! Orbitz is giving me the best price for the airline tickets anyway!!!! Give me more relief.

I just booked mine today!!! and my travel agent told me that since its a holdiay weekend almost all flights are sold out, so I need to book my flight soon
