Don't panic! You're fine! lol Take a break, clear your head and try looking again...you may just find 'the one' out of the blue one day! lol good luck!

I think it depends on the designer. Some designers can have your gowns in 4-6 months, others need almost a year. I'm getting an Eve of Milady gown. I'm ordering it tonight and it's not coming until March! And that's on 'rush' delivery! But there are others that I know can come in much sooner.

I don't want to freak you out, BUT I ordered my dress in Oct '08 for my May '10 weding. It came in a few weeks ago, and it was the WRONG dress!!! Thankfully, since I ordered it early enough they are able to fix the problem without too much incident, and the dress will come in September. But, I say the earlier the better!

I was told it should be ordered by the 1 year mark, give or take. You might need to rush order it depending on the designer/store.

As many had said, depending on the designer - some can take up to 10 months or more and some can arrive within 4 months. It really depends on the designer.

Just in case your dress does take 6-8 months, you dont want to feel any added stress, as you get closer to your wedding and waiting for your dress.

The sooner the better, I would def. start by the end of the month.
