When are you getting your nails done?

When are you getting your nails done?

Is 3 days before the wedding too soon? I don't want to leave it for the last minute because it's so time consuming, but I don't want to give them too much time to chip or fade.

My wedding is on Saturday, RD is on Thurs so is Wed too soon?

Depends, are you getting them done with tips or wraps? then three days should be just fine, but since mine are not wrapped (with my luck they will break the day before the wedding lol) I will get mine done on the day before, I am doing a bridal luncheon & spa thing with the girls

Ooh -- that sounds sooooo nice!!! I'm so worried I won't have time for anything the day before so I was planning for wed as our mini-spa day.... Yeah, I plan to wrap if my nails are long enough and tips if not, so hopefully it's not too much time for me to ruin them!!

Wraps and tips hold up really well the first 5 days or so, i had mine wrapped for over a year, so I have alot of exp with it.. unless you plan to paint, enter a dishwashing contest, or use harsh chemicals.. you should be just fine..lol

I am probably working 1/2 a day, the day before the wedding and then going out for a spa treatment, whee I will ge a facial, waxing, manicure, and pedicure.

You will be fine 3 days before. I am scheduling them the same way you are.

Friday is RD...Sunday is wedding...Wednesday is nails and toes!!

When I need nails done for an event I always try to purchase the nail polish, just in case. My toes chip often so I am constantly retouching those. I will bring it on the HM just in case.

Also, in my experience the best nail salon nail polish is Dante or Essie. They last the longest!

For me, Wednesday would be too soon. If you don't have time on Thursday, use a really good top and base coat.

I am getting mine done Thursday morning and my wedding is Friday.
I have my real nails though so I have bigger chance of chipping, etc.
I also have the whole week of the wedding off so I am hoping I don't have anything to do the day before the wedding.
We'll see if all goes according to plan.

The day before, I don't want them to get messed up.

If you have tips, then I would say it's ok to go 3 days before. The color doesn't chip as easily.

I am getting tips put on next weekend, just so I can get used to them...I will have them filled/painted on the thurssday before, becasue friday is ladies day/night out...saturday is rd and sunday is teh day!

I have had tips for so many year snow... I am getting them filled the day before (on friday) for my saturday wedding so they are perfect

Are planning to get a manicure? or do you have tips? I'm thinking of getting a manicure the day before, but im even worried about that b/c manicures chip so quickley.

fashionhag, are you sure you wanna go with the facial the day before the wedding? i'm saying that because sometimes my face is irritated and a little blotchy after a facial, and it takes a few days to see the beneficial effects.

My wedding was on Saturday. I got my nails done Late Friday night. I just got a french man and ped. Somehow, 2 of my toenails had chipped by Saturday morning. So when I finidhed getting my hair and makeup done,I had the manicurist at the salon fix my 2 toes.
