I have off a week and a half from work at the end of April for Spring break. We're closing on our house and probably get our marriage license that week too.

You might want to call and check about good Friday...I know most offices here in Suffolk County are closed, since it's an official holiday....

definately call and check about good friday. we were thinking of that day too, but decided April 11th. since I don't get off on good friday anyway! Marriage license is valid for 60 days. that is, must be filed within 60 days, figuring that you won't file before your return of HM.... also there's a 24 hour waiting period, depending on where you go i think. I called Babylon Town Hall for the info... 957-3000

also, FYI- I was told that the town of Islip has evening hours during the week!
