My mom said that I shouldn't bustle my dress until after the first dance, but I think I'd rather just do it before introductions to the reception. What are your plans?

umm fh is a klutz- if i dont bustle it- he will trip & one of us will end up on the floor with a bloody nose or something- but thats just us

I think either FH or I will trip if I don't do it before the first dance....he's got 2 left feet as it is! Also, I don't want to take the time out of the reception to go do it!

I'm bustling as soon as we're done with post-ceremony pictures. Don't want to worry about it dragging or getting stepped on!

The thought of hauling it around makes me cringe.
I was all set to remove the bustle before FH said he liked long trains and asked me to get one

i have the detachable train so i figured maybe after the first dance or so i can take it off. but i want to wear it as long as i can.

I don't think I could dance in my dress without bustling it and since I have 4 hours between the end of my ceremony and the beginning of my reception I don't think I will have a choice LOL! It gets bustled right after all the pics are done!

I did mine after the 1st dance, I wanted it down when we walked in the I held it by the arm strap while dancing and right after bustled it

I am definitely bustling mine before our entrance. I am short as it is and if all goes well I will be wearing my slippers so I will be really short and with my luck I would trip over myself and rip my strapless dress right off and give everyone a HUGE show!!!!

before first dance ............ i dont wanna hold it or drag it behind me. When i enter the RH i wanna have a different look than at the church....im taking off my cap sleeves, and veil ( i have a headband) and ill have my dress bustled so it will be like a whole new outfit lol
