I was thinking about leaving the monday after my wedding so that I have sunday to unwind, but then I realized that's not really necessary because my reception is gonna be in the afternoon, so it'll be over fairly early... but then I might have an after party so I don't know! What r u girls gonna do...

we're leaving two weeks after the wedding. that's when the cruise leaves so we don't have much of a choice but it's okay cause I'm not going to work those two weeks so I'll have time to set up the apartment. Something I don't really have to worry about before the wedding now!

we havent booked our HM yet or know where we are going haha
but i think we will wait at least 2 days before we go. so we have time to settle down, relax and do things that need to get done before we go

the wedding is may 17 on a saturday night...as of now we said were gonna do vegas and tahiti...if we do that then we'll wait until thursday to go to vegas so we can be there for the weekend
Denise, I've been to Vegas a few times and to be honest you don't really have to be there for the weekend! You could go Sunday to Wednesday and still have an awesome experience - most of the night spots have their good nights during the week. Just wanted to add my 2 cents
Thank you ... i might have to consider this bc until last week i didnt really that we would be in vegas for memorial day weekend, it might be fun though who knows. Ill talk to FH and see what he thinks, he's been to vegas like 5-6 times so it'll be his call

Wedding on Friday night - probably leaving on Monday but I haven't even booked it - we have a small window of opportunity because FH's graduation is about two weeks after the wedding, and on top of that we may have to prepare to move to wherever he gets a residency Hopefully that's not the case and we can just enjoy being married and staying here!!

My wedding is the saturday following Thanksgiving. Fh is in the restaurant business and thats their busiest time. We'll be going on our HM most likely in January.

We are getting married the 1st of June and FH is a teacher so he finished school June 27 so we have to take our HM at the end of June, I dont mind though

We're getting married on a saturday afternoon & we're planning on leaving for HM Tuesday morning. The reason is I'm still a student & I have all of my classes on Monday. If we leave Tuesday, I can go to school Monday & when I get back from the HM I'll only have missed one of each class.
Why didn't someone tell me NOT to get married in September?

Ideally I think I would want to leave the Tuesday after (I am having a Saturday night wedding). I just know that the day after someone else's wedding I am usually exhausted and don't do much, so giving myself Sunday and Monday to regroup and reorganize after my own wedding, and then leave Tuesday morning would be perfect for me.

We're getting married on a Friday night, so we're either going to leave that Saturday or Sunday. For the nights that we'll be in NY, we're going to stay at a hotel in the city.

i really wanted to go to greece at first but the euro made europe a little too pricey, i can get a much better package in the caribbean and spend less, plus Radu and i are true to heart beach bums, so it just makes great sense
