Re: When Booking........
I remember my church asked for my baptismal certificate. That was a pain in the @ss to get. I don't know if they do that anymore. That was over 10 years ago.

Re: When Booking........
Our church didn't ask for anything, they just gave us a checklist of what needed to be done in what amount of time. We have to get our Baptismal Certificates to them before the wedding.

Re: When Booking........
you don't need to bring anything. the deposit will be due on the night of your rehearsal and it varies from parish to parish for a variety of reasons, but it averages about $500.00
you will need to know when and where (what parish) you received your baptism, communion and comfirmation as the priest will ask you those questions. you (and your FH if he is also catholic) will need to get your baptismal certificate, but they will not be needed right away... they justhave to be in before the wedding. you will also need to know basics like whether you want a Mass or a ceremony, etc. etc. if you want outside musicians, a visiting priest or deacon, friends or family to participate in the Mass (as altar servers, eucharistic ministers, etc.) this is a good time to ask all those types of questions.
