Re: when booking RH...
If they offer to throw anything in for free, like extra stations or VH or something, make sure you definitely get that in the contract!!

Re: when booking RH...
Yes, I agree with Chanwich. I was told I was getting a free night at the hotel owned by my RH and also a 1.5 hr cocktail hour and when I asked about it everything changed. I would also ask about any 'hidden fees' - such as to take photos on the grounds of your RH, how much it costs to have your ceremony there if that is how you are doing it, if they have a cake cutting fee (sometimes 1-2 dollars per slice), a wine corking fee, etc... my RH didn't have any of those fees, but I am glad I asked when we were writing up the contract so that I don't have to worry about it later.

Re: when booking RH...
Anything that they are giving as 'Additional' for choosing them should be put in the contract. For example, chair covers, that you get to pick the color of your linens, etc. Make sure that you can use any vendor, some RH make it mandatory that you use their vendors or vendors that they have ok'd in the past. Ask what if any insurance policy they will need from the other vendors.

Re: when booking RH...
Minimums
If the gratuity is taxed (it is illegal btw)
Do they include champagne or is this extra $
How many weddings at once
Do they have a vegetarian option in addition to your menu choices.
Prices for children and vendors
***What is their cancellation policy
I think there was a post on here a while ago about this, do a search, they had some really good tips.
Good luck and congtrats

No, with Sean he was great I love the way he took care of us and plus the card of thanks for visiting them was such a nice touch (we went on a sunday and we got the card the next tuesday).

Anything they tell you they will 'include' in the price - make sure it's in writing... it could be as simple as Christmas decorations... just CYA.
