When buying a house..what other bills do you also take on?

When buying a house..what other bills do you also take on?
Now we have a co-op and do not pay for garbage and water, etc...So what other bills do you incur when buying a house? We are crunching numbers so I don't want to foget anything!
I know I have to add in:
Water Garbage Home Owners Heat anything else? Also, ball park figures for bills would be great!
Now we pay about $65 a month for con-ed how much for a house? HELP!!!!!

Taxes!
Utilities: Electric Gas Water any maitenence
Cable/Satelite Internet access
etc...

Garbage isn't an additional cost. Its figured into your taxes.

Water electric Newspaper cable taxes cell phone regular phone credit cards oil or gas mortgage home owners insurance groceries
and any other miscellanous bills you might have- make sure you have a little nest egg for emergency repairs too- tree removal, electrical problems etc. Theses things just creep up out of no where..........

Garbage depends on where you live. I'm in Town of Hempstead, it's included in my taxes, but you have to schedule an appt for special pickup (big items like if you get a new fridge). Town of Oyster Bay you just put big stuff out and they take it. Someone who was living in Hampton Bays told me that you had to hire private garbage collection or haul it yourself to the dump.

I grew up in Hampton Bays and that is totally true. My dad still hauls it to the dump, he refuses to pay for garbage collection.
When we bought our house in Brookhaven township I couldn't believe we had garbage collection, what a luxury. BUT I also pay more in taxes than my parents.

If you are coming from queens and have gas now and are moving to the island and have gas be prepared to pay alot more. We paid last month alone in a delivery fee of $112 and our total bill was $298! Gas is definitly alot more. The only thing I didnt see was landscaper if you guys dont plan on doing it but that adds up as well.
