I requested a quote from classic party rental for dinner ware for 250 people and the quote came back a whopping 8900 bucks. Are they serious? It is absolutely outrageous. I was beyong annoyed so I just needed to vent.

this might sound weird, but when you asked for the rental, did you mention it's a wedding? I would suggest to tell them it's a regular non-wedding party and see if they offer a better price.
ETA: oh, and that's an INSANE amount of money for dinnerweare! they must be crazy! haha

I did tell them it was for a wedding. I should not have. It wasn't even like designer china or anyhting. They were charging upwards of 10 bucks for each piece. I am not sure that is normal but it just didn't sound right to me
