Went away to college in PA when I was 17, moved back in with my parents for 6 months after I graduated. Lived on Upper East side in NYC for a year, then moved back in with my parents for another 6 months when I was in between apartments, then lived on my own in midtown from 23 - 27. Moved in with my parents AGAIN when I gave up my apartment 2 months before getting married, then moved to London with DH 4 days after getting married!!

I moved out when I was 22. But I have never lived totally by myself. I have always had roommates.

since college I have been out of the house- I was back for a year at 20-21 but then out ever since then
part of me wishes I lived at home more to save money- but I know I would have spent it anyway on clothes or something else

Let's see...lived away at college, then came back home afterward. Was working in the city on little money so I couldn't afford to not live home. DH lived in New York City, then we got serious and knew we wanted to be married so he moved back home to save money.
Aside from college, the only time I lived away was when I lived in Virginia, dancing with the Richmond Ballet.
I guess I've always been a home body!

After college, I moved back in with my parents. At 24, I was 'living' in two places, with my ex and with my parents. When I met DH, that became the case with him, too, eventually. I was fully moved out by 26, before the wedding.

same here. i could've gone away to college in NYC but met FH the summer i graduated from HS. i decided to be a commuter to be with him more and it was the best decision i ever made!
i'm 27 now and getting married next month. we signed the lease to our apartment but will stay traditional and not move in until after we get back from our HM. we'll slowly move stuff in starting June 1st but won't actually 'live' there till we're husband and wife.

As soon as I graduated college...I was 23 and it just so happened that FH's parents were moving out to LI and we decided to move in together.
