I am about 11 weeks and still have not heard the heartbeat and only had 1 sonogram at about 6 weeks. The Doctor said I will hear it at my next appt. which is May 22. Does this seem weird or about right? I also had an abnormal pap smear and they said that this can be normal, but did not take another pap smear just did a check up and said all looked good. Now that I have been thinking about it for a couple of days, I think it is kinda weird. What do you think?

I didn't hear the HB until I was 12 weeks. Don't worry!! I'm sure everything is fine!

I didn't hear it until week 12 and she said I was lucky to hear it so early. Usually it's not until about week 14-15, so that sounds right for you.

we heard and saw it beating on monitor at our 1st sono at 7 weeks
Im sure everything is fine - did they measure the baby?

sorry I took so long to response. THanks for your comforting words. I guess I am just freaking myself out.
As for them measuring the baby, nope not yet. Hopefully they will be doing alot more at the next visit.
Its hard bacause there are 7 doctors in the group and I have to meet with all of them just in case my doctor is not on call when I go into labor.

We had 2 sonograms before we actually heard the HB. I think I was at about 12 weeks? Sounds pretty normal. Dont worry yourself!

I was 12 wks as well. The dr saw the HB via sonogram earlier so we knew all was well
