When did you order your veil?

My dress is in-but I have put off the veil, headpiece, undergarments, and accessories. Am I really cutting it close if I wait mid summer?

I doubt it, no. I think that is fine. I only ordered/got mine a month ago.

I just ordered my veil about a week ago. I should get it towards the end of July. As for my undergarments, I am buying them at the salon at my first fitting. Shoes and accessories - I plan on starting to look for those next month.

I think u are ok. I still havn't ordered a veil, but the place i'm getting it from said i didn't need to order it till my first fitting this sat

I just ordered my veil this week and I'm getting married in 7 weeks! I think it depends on if you plan to have a lot of custom things done -- hand-made veils/headpieces with beading will take a much longer time to come in. If you're having a custom-corset made, that can take a month or so I've heard. I think mid-summer is fine.

ETA: On the other hand, I think Backinneyork just got her headpiece and it took about 6 months to come in.

i ordered mine back in january from sewdeb. it took a month or so i think...and that was semi-custom made.

I think you'll be fine. I ordered mine in April for my May wedding - from eBay no less! Now that's cutting it close!

I too am getting married in November and the woman told me to come back in September for my veil
