when did you pick out your bm dresses?

when did you pick out your bm dresses?

Should I be super concerned that I've only looked once and wasn't impressed by anything? When should these be ordered by?

im going to order mine with my girls on saturday, bc the dress i am ordering for them takes 4-6 months to come in

we went shopping about 9 mths before (bc my sister was preggers and i wanted her to be able to try stuff on before she got too big)

but we didnt order until like the 6 mth mark

I felt the same way . We ended up ordering them 6 months before the wedding. I picked it out on my own, had a few come with me to try it on and then told the girls what they were wearing. It would be too hard to take 9 girls to go dress shopping.

You have some time. My girls have to order their dresses by the end of next month. So I would think you have till the end of June.

I picked them out about a year before, and was told to have them ordered by the 6 month mark.

the girls ordered their dresses late November/ early December and they just got them a week ago.

you still have time to look around if your wedding is in December.

They told me 10-12 weeks for them to get in. I ordered them in December... I think...

i agree with the other girls who posted

at a bridal store, it can take up to 5 months for the dresses to come in ... and then another month for alterations. So i'd try to have all dresses ordered about 6-7 months before your wedding.

BUT, if you're ordering from David's Bridal, their BM dresses take about a month to come in so you can wait longer.

I picked them out a while ago. Last April, I was with my sis in California, so we went and did it then--so about 15 months out.

We didn't all order them until January--6 months out!

I went and the girls picked theirs out in January, 6 months before the wedding.

it took me a while to find a dress i liked too. but id start lookin so that ure not scarmbling for a dress later.

They usually take about 4 months so you just want to make sure the girls have enough time before the wedding to get them altered.

We went in august and ordered and my last bm went in november and ordered and we have them all now so i think ur fine
