okay, so i am getting married in december but my shower is most likely going to be in september or october. i just am uncertain on when is a good time to make my registries. i have seen a lot of girls mention that they have added stuff only for it to be dis-continued.. so how many months before your shower did you register? thanks!

i added a few things when we first got engaged... but i added the bulk of it in december/january...

About a month ago. I was concerned that if we registered early and really loved some things, they might get discontinued.

i did mine right after we got engaged, but i update on a regular basis so i check for things that are discontinued

My wedding is in October (hopeing my shower is in June or July) and I think I registerd in April of 09. Some of their items do change or get discontinued but you can always update online

I just registered last weekend. My shower is going to be in July. so 4 months before. I'm also going to add/delete for awhile.

We started last Oct. right before my bday and Christmas since we thought people would buy us stuff off there for gifts. Which they did.
I've def. had to update stuff though.
