When did you start 'actively' TTC. . .

after your wedding? Was it a mutual decision? Did you ever change your TTC timeframe (like if you first thought about waiting and then changed your minds)?

Re: When did you start 'actively' TTC. . .

We started TTC 2 years after our wedding- when we bought a house. Our apartment was too small to have a baby. We tried to plan things so I would give birth at the end of the school year, but mother nature had other plans. It was more my decision to start trying. Dh wanted to whenever I felt ready- and I really wanted to worry about a house first. In retrospect, I kind of wish we started earlier because I didn't think it would take this long already!

We originally wanted to wait to start until maybe about 2 years after we were married. About 5 months after we were married we decided we wanted to try at the end of that year after our 1st anniversary. We've been trying ever since. 16 months later...still waiting for PG to happen.

At our honeymoon, this past February. It was a mutual decision. This month will be the second month of trying but this time I used the ovulation calendar. I'll let ya know in about 8 days.

Re: When did you start 'actively' TTC. . .

DH & I are in the process of trying to figure out when we want to begin TTC. We are thinking next April, May or June (I don't want to be very preggo in the summer months). I have been off the pill for a while, but we count & are using other contraceptives to prevent conception for now.

If it were up to DH, we would be TTC for years already - he cannot wait!
