When did your church call to schedule the rehearsal?

I was told I'd be contacted but I wanna get my RD booked and my OOTers are asking for dates.

How far in advance did you schedule the rehearsal?

I called to book in December and they told me it was too soon. We wound up booking in February.

we put the rehearsal in their calendar when we booked our wedding.

I 'tentatively' booked it back in February.

I was always told our rehearsal would be the Saturday before the wedding, and that they'd call us the month before. So I had planned for May 29 because that's the Saturday before. BUT.......May 29 happens to fall on Memorial Day Weekend. So FMIL wanted me to find out from the church, so she could make RD plans.

I called the church in February, and they don't generally like to schedule so far in advance since the church might throw together last minute events. But they penciled me in then.

Then at the beginning of May, I called back to confirm.

we got a date right after we spoke to the officiating minister.

Last week, but that's bc we had to switch churches.

I called last week for August. They said it was still early but did it anyway. I explained I had OOT'ers and they needed to make travel arrangements.

if we waited for the church to call, we'd still be waiting, haha.

We strong armed them into setting it up back in April, I think.
