When did/will you tell?

I apologize in advance b/c I'm sure it's been asked before but......When/will you tell family and friends?

My sister has known from the beginning and we told my BF yesterday. We wanted to wait until after our first apt to tell anyone else. I will be 8 weeks Friday and we saw and heard the heartbeat yesterday.

We plan to tell siblings and parents this weekend and then friends and family next week.

I have been DYING to tell but I'm nervous all of a sudden

I was going to wait until the first trimester was over until i told my friends and fam but i have been sick since day one so it was pretty obivous. I told them and i when i was only 6 weeks. I hope that helps.

We told our parents and siblings the week we found out...but that is because I knew that if anything did happen those people would help support me through it.
I told my best friend at 10pm at night when I secretly took the test as my DH was upstairs. I had a VERY faint line and called her to ask what she thought...I also told another very close friend the next day..after DH found out of course
I told work at 7 weeks and that was because my commute was hard for me a few days since I was pretty tired. Thank goodness I did tell work because at 10 weeks I needed to stop commuting, as per doctor's order and work from home full-time.

We told moms dads and sibling around 7 weeks. We told extended but close family at about 8-9 weeks. I told a couple friends around 10 weeks after my first dr visit. ALl other friends and family else after 12-14 weeks. Besides my boss and one or two others, most of my work didn't find out til much much later - after 20 weeks.

We told close friends and family right away-I also had to tell work early on since I am in healthcare and had to watch out with lifting heavy patients, infectious patients.
