called my bridal salon and they said that i should start coming for my alterations 2 months beforehand. i have a dress thats at least 3 sizes too big for me - and i need a bustle. i thought typical start time was 6 months before? am i wrong?

2 months was told to me, even shorter if you want. 6 months is way to far out.

They do not need alot of time. 2 months is fine. Mine was a month!

I think I was told my alterations begin in Febraury about 3 months before my wedding.

Yes Mine is less than 2 months. I didnt schedule when they wanted me to. They don't have a problem with that.. or they havent told me they did anyway!
