I am getting married in about ten months. My MOH wants to order the dresses now. They are all picked out, but I thought it was a little soon. I already ordered my wedding gown, but I can still wait on the bridesmaids right? Also, when do I have to book things like my honeymoon and DJ? Thanks for the help...Happy Planning to all :)

Hi Christy,
I would definitely get the dj now. Good music is hard to come by and the most talented are usually booked far in advance. Bridesmaid dresses should be ordered 6 months in advance just to be safe. good luck!

If your profile is correct, you have some time..here are some guidelines I followed. Of course everything can be done more in advance and in less time.
Music - 9 months
Bridesmaid dresses - 6 months....(my shop told me three months but I played it safe..wound up coming in in a month...I still haven't gone to pick them up though). If you order too early the girls will just have them sitting around collecting dust in their closets.
Honeymoon - 6-7 months
Photo/Video - 11 months
Limos - 7 months
Flowers - 11 months
My Dress - 9 months
I had the luxury of time...had a little over a year and half enagagement. Although I didn't want the long enagagement, it came in handy to make the planning less stressful because I didn't have time constraints
