set up a tasteing with my RH? Do I tell them what I want to taste or do they just give me things? I am not sure how this works?

I think u tell them ur interested into their RH .... but would like to know how their food is.. and ask for it...

were setting one up first they told us any night that has a wedding or and event because the cooks are already there and we can sample the food that the event had chosen but then another one of our BMs (we apparently have two) said that they only do it during the week and just call two weeks before you want to come in. so i dont think i can really help because i am

in my experience, you usually have to book the RH before you can do a tasting. it might be different elsewhere.

They told us to book it a couple months before the wedding. We're getting married in July so I believe March or April we'll do it. I don't want the chefs to cook or anything to change to much after our sampling.

We did a tasting before we booked. I specifically asked to taste the food before putting money down. I don't think we will have another before the wedding when we finalize the menu.

I dont think majestic has tastings, they just have their food at the showcases.
