how soon after you get engaged do you ask your friends and family to be in the bridal party?

most say to wait as much as possible since you never know what could happen with who you want to ask, but its really up to you

I asked within a couple of weeks of getting engaged but i knew i wouldn't change my mind and at that point the wedding was less than a year away!

i agree....but i'd say no later than 10 months before the wedding...b/c you have to order dresses and people need to budget money

I asked within weeks of me being engaged... It wasn't a hard decision.. It brighten my eyes as to who were my real friends..

wait as long as possible..... i asked right after i got engaged and things changed and i ended up adding two girls that i wish i would have added from the beginning
