Usually its 2 months before. I'm getting married July 29 and my bridal salon just called me to sched. my first fitting. Its on May 25th.

You could go in the end of July if you want.

When I was told my dress was in they wouldn't let me come in for a fitting until 6 weeks prior to the wedding and not sooner. Give your shop a call and see what they say.

Most bridal shops will not schedule it more than 2 months before in case you lose/gain weight in the weeks before the wedding.
