My dress just arrived and my wedding isn't until July 30. When do I go for my first fitting? I have a few more pounds I'd like to lose, so should I wait until the beginning of June, mid-June, or is that too late? Thanks

I think the end of May beginning of June is fine. My wedding was the 17th of April and my first fitting wasnt till the very end of Feb.

The salon will tell you when you should go because they will know how much time their seamstresses need to do the work.

It's usually around 6 weeks prior to the wedding.

Mine is May16th but it's early cause I'm adding covered buttons to my dress. I would go by what your salon tells you maybe.
